PCCBCHW organizes several events during the year. Our events center around creating awareness, educating horse riders, and raising funds. We have general meetings where we discuss relevant issues and the public can attend some of these. For more information, see our events for the next few months.
Burke Lake Ride – September 9 to 10th
Join our endurance and recreational ride at Burke Lake. This is a great opportunity for riders who are training for endurance events. It is also a relaxing ride for those who just want to ride recreationally. You choose your pace.
General Meeting (Open to Public) – September 23rd
Our general meeting for September is open to the public and we will be opening the floor for public concerns, issues, or ideas. Please let us know that you will be attending for planning purposes.
Fundraising Auction – September 30th
We auction off some horse riding equipment and artworks to raise funds. We need funds to keep the organization running and also to put towards our funds for preservation projects. Entry fees cover a two-course meal and snacks. Bring your check book and buy some art for a good cause.
Novice Pack Trip – October 15th
We take new riders on a trip through the trails to orientate themselves and learn how to handle their horse. We also teach them the proper etiquette and behavior for using public trails.
Thanksgiving Ride – November 26th
This ride takes place at Elbe Hills and is always a fantastic event. Novice and experienced riders are welcome to join us on this amazing trail.
