Christmas Potluck & Auction

What a great time we had on Saturday evening, December 8th! Pierce County Chapter members and friends met at the Kapowsin Grange for our annual Christmas Potluck and Auction. Decorations by Mary Poste and Barb Downing lit up the Grange with hundreds of lights and rolls of ribbon. Sandy Wade along with an army of helpers managed the silent and live auctions along with MC help of Bob Brooke.

Cheryl Clark & Tom Poste are,
undoubtedly, talking about
the tables festooned with red
& white tablecloths; ribbons
ran the length of the tables,
each sprinkled with Christmas
candy and brass bells.

Bob Brooke, right edge, overlooks
diner just before the live auction.
The room shone with lights draped
from high up on the walls, with
lighted wreaths and Christmas
trees in the windows.

From the left, Don Laib,
the back of Denny Dargan, Pat
Byars, Joy Erickson & Dorrie
Goldman enjoy the potluck.

Kathy Jones entices bidders
in the live auction.

Denny Dargan & Sandy Wade
help out auctioneer, Bob Brooke,
by spotting bidders in the lively
crowd; over 80 PCC members
and friends attended.

We can never say enough good things
about the 'behind the scenes"
people including (from the left) Pete
Peterson, Pat Long & Joy Erickson.

Thank you to all who gave up 'party time' to make sure our
auction was successful: Sally Laib, Janet Azevedo, Jack Gillette,
Larry Christian, Thurston Pritchard, Andy Bales, Dave Jones,
and so many more.
